Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve hosts 15th anniversary of the Interpretive Center
Fort Myers, FL, April 3, 2023 – Lee County Parks & Recreation will commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve Interpretive Center with a special event 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at the preserve, 7751 Penzance Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33966.
This event is free with paid parking of $1 per hour or $5 per day and will celebrate 15 years of educating visitors of the importance and beauty of the slough.
Special presentations will be held throughout the day by volunteer naturalists and guest speakers.
A new exhibit about the history of the Interpretive Center will be unveiled during the event.
